Blog Post #2 Network Laws
I believe that Sarnoff's Law is the most viable. If you think about the way that networking is today, especially with social media sites, the most popular and valuable, both culturally and monetarily are the ones that have the most users. These would be sites like Facebook, Twitter, Vine, Instagram, etc. Culturally, we are so drawn to using these sites and applications everyday and it really can be difficult for people to be taken away from them or take themselves away from them.
Five years from now, I really don't foresee this changing. These sites have drawn so much popularity and if anything, are just going to serve as a platform for whatever change may arise in the future. These sites are constantly being updated and changed for how users want them to be, and therefor, it makes it more difficult for any other information platforms to wiggle their way in. Of course, we will always see what happens, but I believe, again, that not much is going to change.
